Description

Duet for flute and guitar based on my "Crofter's song", a setting of Kenneth MacCleod's translation of an anonymous Scottish poem about hospitality (I saw a stranger yestereen). For copyright reasons I cannot publish the original song, but this re-creation for flute and guitar is effective in its simplicity and hospitable nature.

The crofter saw a stranger, gave him food and music and the stranger blessed him for his hospitality "in the sacred name of the Triune".
