A "mini-cantata" based on the poem by Leconte de Lisle: the elves dance joyous on the plain but they care little for humans and the fate of lovers.
Scored for solo voices (alto and baritone), alto and tenor recorders, chorus (comprising altos or altos and tenors), cello (or cellos), and classical guitar.
