Description

For an elementary-school-age pianist, violinist and ‘cellist, the brief 3-movement suite, “Reverence” (Song of the Valley, Prayer of the Children and Song of the Mountain) was commissioned by the Mesilla Valley Piano Teachers Association and first performed by students at the group’s Music Adventures Camp in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA. The benefits of having young children preparing and performing chamber music were surprising and gratifying, for them and their teachers.
