MusicReader - Feel Free to Perform

MusicReader is innovative software that makes reading music easy and convenient. The software offers solutions for all kinds of problems musicians have with (paper) sheet music, both individually and in orchestras and ensembles. This includes easy page turning, a convenient music library and flexible annotation making.

MusicReader anticipates on the developments of sheet music offered online such as on MyScoreStore. Digital sheet music can easily be converted to MusicReader and paper sheet music can also be digitized by using an easy to use scanning and conversion program.

MusicReader runs on all Windows XP and Vista laptops and desktops, but is especially designed for the use of pen and touch screens, such as on Tablet PCs. MusicReader also offers a variety of hardware options to make the use of the software even more convenient.

The following features are available on MusicReader:

Library - store sheet music and retrieve it easy and fast;

Turn pages - turn pages in multiple ways (e.g. by onscreen navigation, or a special foot pedal);

Half page turn - turn pages halfway to play without interruption;

Annotations - make annotations in multiple colors and line widths;

Zoom - zoom in up to 8x to make detailed annotations or read the music more easily;

Fullscreen - displayed the music in full size without the bars and/or menus in sight;

2 pages display - view two pages of music on one landscape mode screen;

Tuner - Tune your instrument while viewing the sheet music;

Metronome - follow the sheet music and turn pages automatically in multiple tempos;

Music player - play audio CDs and music files with the onscreen music player;

Scan music - scan and convert existing sheet music to the MusicReader format;

Printer driver - print digital music directly from file or website to convert it to MusicReader file format;
