Michael J Weaver is a musician in the Philadelphia (PA, USA) area who has been working freelance since 2002. His services include Composing, Arranging, Transcribing, Engraving, French Horn Performance, and Musical Instrument/Theory Instruction. Michael holds a BM in Music Theory and Composition from West Chester University and has been known to play a pit orchestra or two in his spare time. Most recently, he performed on stage as the Narrator/French Horn/Trumpet/ Percussionist in Michael Medvidik's orchestra-less production of Sondheim's Into The Woods at the Barnstormers Theater in Ridley Park, PA. He says he enjoyed his return to the stage, as he hadn't been a stage player since high school, but "I really missed wearing the dark clothes, and reading books between tunes... it's nice being in the background!" Michael also plays weddings (french horn or piano/organ) and cocktail hours where he introduces the careful listener to the fine art of Jazz French Horn!
